 Advent Afternoon
Sometimes the season of Advent just passes us by. We are so concerned with "getting" to Christmas.

But Advent is a beautiful season of peace and preparation, just like a family waiting for a new baby to be born.

Join us for a fun family Advent afternoon
at St. John’s Parish

When: Saturday, December 13 at 3PM

Where: Meet at Good Shepherd School cafeteria

Ages: Children PK through 6th grade

Includes: Bible Study, Music and Crafts

Family Mass at 5:15PM in the church

Pot Luck Supper and Sing-a-long
in the Cafeteria after the mass

Cost: $5 per child. Pre-registration required by December 8.

Parents are welcome to join in the afternoon, but we ask that all parents join their children at the 5:15 Mass

After the mass, all families will return to the school cafeteriafor a pot luck supper and Christmas carols.

Calling all volunteers: Can you give 2 hours of your Advent for this special afternoon? We need help with bible study, crafts, decoration and someone to coordinate our Pot Luck Dinner. Older Students are welcome to help us. Earn Confirmation or High School Service Hours.
